John A. Adams built two barns at Cedarcroft. They are unusual for this area because few people built what is known as bank barns.

The barns are still in use, both for storing equipment and "stuff." The East Barn was home to the 4 horses who lived with us for a time (see Sandra's Horsey Pages). This was originally the cattle barn; you can see the remains of an old silo.
